Finding triumph through the pandemic
With our season schedule cut in half due to COVID- 19, we experienced constant disappointment in our athletic performances.
After leaning on each other through this hard time, we were able to come together and do something that hasn't been done at SDSU in years. After the first day of the Mountain West track and field conference meet, SDSU was predicted to take fourth place.
After running track for over half of my life, this was the toughest season yet most rewarding season. This was so much more than a conference title, to all of us it was about overcoming adversity and adapting when it mattered the most. Go Aztecs!
